About the course:

The PADI Advanced Open Water Course is designed to take you deeper into your diving adventures, up to 30 meters (100 feet) deep!

The course comprises five adventure dives; Deep and Navigation dives are mandatory, and for the remaining three, you have the choice between many other choices like Wreck Dive, Drift Dive, and Boat Dive to mention a few.

The Advanced Open Water course’s objectives are to help you develop a love for the underwater world, learn advanced skills in scuba diving, and become comfortable with the equipment and techniques used in scuba diving.

After completing the PADI Advanced Open Water Course at our you will have the opportunity to continue your scuba diving education by enrolling in the PADI Rescue Diver Course.

Schedule Details

Gathering & Transfer

**7:30 AM - 8:00 AM** | **Gathering & Transfer** | Gathering at the dive center or hotel pickup point. Check-in, present certificates (if applicable), and pay fees (if not prepaid)

Transfer to the Marina

8:00 AM - 8:30 AM** | **Transfer to the Marina** | Transfer from the center to the boat (launch) if separate

Arrival and Setup

8:30 AM - 9:00 AM** | **Arrival and Setup** | Welcome by the crew (guide, captain, assistants). Choose a comfortable spot, provide a safety briefing on the boat, and distribute dive gear.

Sail to the first dive site

9:00 AM - 9:30 AM** | **Sail to the first dive site** | Enjoy the scenery, have tea or coffee, and prepare for the dive. The guide gives a briefing on the first dive site: depth, currents, what to see, and safety signals

First Dive

:30 AM - 10:45 AM** | **First Dive** | Departure for the first dive of the day. Typically, it will be at one of the popular sites such as **Abu Nuhas, Karlsrum, or Grove**. The dive lasts approximately 45-60 minutes

Surface Interval

10:45 AM - 12:00 PM** | **Surface Interval** | Sail to the second dive site. Relax on the surface, have a light refreshment, and snack (biscuits, fruit). This time is essential for the body to excrete nitrogen before the next dive

Second Dive Briefing

2:00 PM - 12:15 PM** | **Second Dive Briefing** | The guide explains the details of the second dive site

Second Dive*

12:15 PM - 1:30 PM** | **Second Dive** | Departure for the second dive, which is often at a different location nearby

Lunch and Relaxation

:30 PM - 2:30 PM** | **Lunch and Relaxation** | After the second dive is complete, the crew begins serving a buffet lunch. During lunch, the boat slowly sails to the beach or heads to a snorkeling site

Swimming and Snorkeling (Optional)

2:30 PM - 3:00 PM** | **Swimming and Snorkeling (Optional)** | An opportunity for non-divers or those who want to enjoy the sun to swim or snorkel in a beautiful shallow area

Preparing for Return

3:00 PM - 3:30 PM** | **Preparing for Return** | Gather personal equipment, make sure nothing is forgotten, and prepare for docking. |

Dock and Return to Marina

3:30 PM - 4:00 PM** | **Dock and Return to Marina** | Arrive at the marina and disembark with equipment.

Transfer to the hotel or center

4:00 PM - 4:30 PM** | **Transfer to the hotel or center** | Return to the departure point. At the center, you can fill out your dive logbook and get a stamp
