Tips for a great water park day with kids

Bring the essentials. Swimwear, towel, sunscreen, a hat and a waterproof phone case. Pack a set of dry clothes for the ride home.

Check heights early. Many slides have height and age rules set by the park. Look at the signs before you queue so nobody is disappointed at the top.

Use the kids' areas. Younger children have their own shallow pools and small slides. Parents still need to supervise; lifeguards don't replace adult eyes.

Reapply sunscreen. The Red Sea sun is strong all year, and water washes cream off fast.
