How much does a private boat day for two cost?

A private speedboat costs €250 per boat, so a couple pays €250 in total, or €125 each. The price covers the captain, hotel pickup and drop-off in Hurghada, a snorkeling stop with equipment, life jackets and drinks according to the boat arrangement. Island fees and lunch are extra.

The route depends on weather and sea conditions, and the captain confirms it on the day. A speedboat can bounce in wind and gives limited shade, so bring a hat and a waterproof phone case. If you want lunch on board and more space, ask about the private boat, which we quote on request.

Is a sunset horse ride or desert evening worth it for couples?

A sunset horse ride is built around the last light of the day, and it needs no riding experience. Pickup is timed to sunset, the instructor gives a safety briefing and picks a suitable horse, and the ride includes a sunset photo stop. The price is on request because it depends on the program.

The mountain safari is the lower-cost alternative at €35 per person. It includes a camel ride and can include the desert at sunset, depending on your departure time. The Super Safari adds a quad bike, and its price depends on the package, for example with or without dinner and show.

The desert cools quickly after sunset. According to Wikipedia's climate table, the mean daily minimum is 11.6°C in January and 13.4°C in December, so pack a light layer.

A 3-day plan with a private speedboat, a desert evening and an El Gouna day costs €520 per couple in trips. A budget version with shared and low-cost trips costs €220. Both exclude your hotel, flights, meals, tips and any separate island or park fees.

The arithmetic is simple: €35 × 2 = €70, €250 per boat, €200 per private trip, €45 × 2 = €90 and €30 × 2 = €60. To add the sunset horse ride, swap it for day 1 and add its quoted price.

How should you pace the three days?

Is El Gouna worth a day for two?

El Gouna suits couples who want a dry, unhurried day of waterfront and cafés. Our private day trip costs €200 per trip, not per person. A driver collects you from your hotel, then you visit Abu Tig Marina and Downtown and have free time for lunch. Meals are at your own expense.

Which trips are less suited to couples?

Shared per-person trips are cheaper but run on a group schedule. In our view, a quiet day suits a private boat better than a group boat. A shared snorkeling day is €90 for two against €250 for the speedboat, a €160 difference for a boat with only your group.
